April 4th: Leadership, Advocacy, and Policy in CCTEd - This session will explore effective leadership strategies, relationship-building, advocacy, and policy in advancing the goals of Community College Teacher Education (CCTE). Participants will connect with the case study, discuss current policy challenges, and collaborate on strategies for effective advocacy to influence educational policy at the local, state, and national levels. A speaker will share a personal case study on navigating leadership challenges in a CCTEd program, offering insights into fostering strong relationships and cultivating a leadership mindset. Participants will have the chance to discuss the case study and reflect on how these strategies can be applied in their own leadership contexts.
April 11th: Pathways, Partnerships, and Workforce Development - This session will explore the creation and sustainability of pathways that connect Community College Teacher Education (CCTEd) programs with K-12 schools and other educational institutions. A speaker will present a personal case study on developing successful partnerships that strengthen educator pipelines and enhance workforce development. Participants will engage in discussions, share experiences, and collaborate on strategies to build and sustain impactful partnerships within their communities.
April 25th: Innovating and Adapting CCTEd to Meet Today’s Needs - This session will explore how Community College Teacher Education (CCTEd) programs can innovate and adapt to address evolving challenges, such as student demographic shifts, online learning advancements and changing workforce demands. A speaker will present a case study on successfully implementing program adaptations, followed by participant discussions on strategies for fostering innovation and ensuring program resilience in an ever-changing educational landscape.
May 2nd: Supporting and Developing CCTEd Faculty - This session will focus on strategies to support and develop adjunct faculty in Community College Teacher Education (CCTEd) programs. Topics will include mentorship programs, professional learning opportunities, and best practices for fostering faculty success. A speaker will share a case study on effective faculty support initiatives, followed by participant discussions on challenges, solutions, and strategies for strengthening adjunct faculty development within their institutions.

Registration is $75 for NACCTEP members and $100 for non-members.
